Working from family photographs or found images. I hope to breathe new life into the neglected images, giving forgotten photographs a second chance, reincarnated as paintings.

Like Lee Shulmans ‘Anonymous Art Project’, It’s hoped the glow of nostalgia will resonate and ‘provoke a ripple of recognition’ within the viewer.

These captured moments have a universal appeal that can ignite our own precious memories. Their stories are our stories whose narratives resonate with us all, these memories are collective memories.
